Fortis is a post-secondary network of colleges and institutes that engages students in a powerful learning and training experience for lifelong growth. Now with 30 campuses nationally, Fortis Colleges & Institutes offer a range of career-based certificate, diploma and degree-granting programs that meet the needs of the local employers and communities. Fortis College and Fortis Institute campuses prepare students for careers in healthcare, 护理, 医疗, 牙科, 按摩, 美容, and the skilled trades including 暖通空调-R, 焊接, 电气和更多.

2008

9月 – Fortis College in 盐湖城 was opened in 犹他州.
12月 – Fortis College campus in 诺福克 became the next school to wear the Fortis name, with the opening of the new facility in 诺福克, VA. The campus was formerly known as 维吉尼亚州 Career Institute in 维吉尼亚州 Beach.

2009

1月 - Fortis adds new campus locations in 阿拉巴马州, in 多森, 移动 and 蒙哥马利. These campuses were formerly known as Capps College.
2月- Fortis continues to expand by adding our 里士满, 我们的校园, formerly known as 维吉尼亚州 Career Institute and our campus in 彭萨科拉, FL, formerly a Capps College campus.
11月/ 12月- We celebrated the grand opening of our brand new Fortis College campus in 印第安纳波利斯, IN, and Fortis continued our growth in 佛罗里达 with the addition of Fortis College in Orange Park, FL (formerly known as North 佛罗里达 Institute) and Fortis moved into the DC metro area with Fortis College in 兰, MD (the former Medix 学校 South campus).

2010

4月- The Fortis brand expands across the states of 宾西法尼亚 and 俄亥俄州 with the additions of Fortis Institute 四十堡 campus and Fortis Institute, 斯克兰顿. Both were formerly known as AMTI.
在俄亥俄州, Fortis acquired campuses in Columbus and 辛辛那提 (former Bohecker College locations), 凯霍加瀑布, (formerly National Institute of 技术 NIT) and Centerville (formerly RETS College in the Dayton, 哦,市场.)
11月 - Fortis Institute opens a brand new facility in 码, 新泽西.
12月 – Formerly known as Berdan Institute, 富通研究院, 韦恩, NJ campus proudly becomes the second Fortis campus in 新泽西.

2011

6月/ 7月-A brand new Fortis College campus open in 卡特勒湾, FL in the Miami suburbs to serve south 佛罗里达.
Two additional Fortis campus locations were added in 德州. Fortis College in Houston South, and Fortis Institute in Houston North area were former MedVance Institute campuses. The former MedVance Institutes in 纳什维尔 and Cookeville were rebranded as Fortis Institute campuses.
9月——在巴尔的摩, 马里兰市场, Fortis Institute – 陶森市 was added, formerly known as Medix 学校 陶森市.
11月 – The Fortis name expands into the state of 路易斯安那州 with the addition of the Fortis College campus in 巴吞鲁日, LA, (原MedVance Institute).)

2013

五月。- Expanding further into 佛罗里达, Fortis adds another campus in 港口圣. 露西, previously known as MedVance Institute.
